While the other Disney World theme parks have been decked out in their holiday decor for a couple of weeks now, almost immediately after Halloween it seemed, EPCOT has still remained without its seasonal decor. EPCOT's Holiday celebration gets a later start than the other parks this year owing to an extended Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival that comes to a close this Sunday November 22nd. That leaves 5 days without a festival for the crews to turn the Food and Wine booths into Holiday Marketplaces which will make their debut the day after Thanksgiving - Friday November 27th.
In the meantime it seems overnight crews have been turning their attention to decking EPCOT out in its holiday finery. The tree is up at the entrance to World Showcase between Canada and Mexico, and the nations of World Showcase are sparking with twinkling lights, garlands, wreaths, and seasonal dioramas.
