Drones in Disneyland?

spectroradio

According to an article yesterday in the Walt Street Journal, The Walt Disney Company has applied to three UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle) related patents.

According to the request, Imagineering is designing an aerial display system that would allow multiple drones to work in concert to display images in the sky by either coordinating large marionettes, floating pixels, or holding up large display projection screens.

Drones could carry screens or super sized puppets in the sky. A vast array of light-mounted drones could create images with the sky as a backdrop. The patent even indicates that drones could someday be used to replace fireworks which can be dangerous and unpredictable.

What do you think of the use of Drones to enhance Disney entertainment?
