Disneyland Paris held a press event today in Paris announcing several new enhancements to the resort, while also providing more detail to previous announcements.
A new runDisney event, The Disneyland Paris Princess Run will debut at Disneyland Paris in May of 2020. Disneyland Paris has been running its own Half Marathon Weekend since 2016 and now building on the success of that race will host a second princess themed run for “runners of all ages” next may May 8-10. For those keeping score that’s 2 running events for Paris, 0 for Anaheim.
The event also featured information on a refresh to the resort’s Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction that will feature three new storylines. Some fans have feared that the Tower of Terror attractions in Paris and Orlando would lose their Twilight Zone tie-ins following the re-theming of the attraction in Disney California Adventure to Guardians of the Galaxy. Disneyland Paris swept those fears aside today, at least for its park, as it doubles down on its Twilight Zone attraction.
