As May 22nd, the official start of Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration quickly approaches, rehearsals are well under way for the new nighttime electrical parade, Paint the Night. Below, the Disney Parks Blog gives us a behind the scenes look at the preparations.
Paint the Night is the first new nighttime electrical parade a Disney Park has seen since Light Magic debuted at Disneyland in May of 1997 before quickly being shuttered just a few months later in September of the same year. We’ve seen the likes of Fantillusion and, of course, SpectroMagic be retired and many in the Disney fan community are anxious to see what May 22nd will bring!
