Disney is currently in the final preparations of its first nighttime electrical parade to be introduced since 2001, when Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: Dreamlights first took to the streets of Tokyo Disneyland. Since that time, both Fantillusion and SpectroMagic have disappeared. Since 2010 saw the demise of SpectroMagic, the Main Street Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom and Tokyo’s Dreamlights are the only two nighttime parades performing at Disney Parks anywhere on the globe.

Disney Paint the Night is part of a massive effort Disney has been putting into Hong Kong Disneyland in an attempt to turn around its business over the last couple years. It has also been rumored that Disneyland in Anaheim will see a “sister” version of the Paint the Night parade as part of its upcoming Diamond Anniversary celebration this spring 2015.

Here is the preview that was released on the Steve Davison Facebook page today.
